Bookmobiles feature vibrant colors and graphics to spur imaginations of readers
The St. Johns County Public Library System (SJCPLS) has introduced a fresh new look for its bookmobiles, designed to inspire imagination and connect residents across the county. The vehicles now feature bright, colorful graphics that reflect the library system’s vibrant branding and showcase its commitment to making library resources accessible for all ages. The Office of Public Affairs produced a video to highlight the stunning new look of the bookmobiles.
The new design, created by Future Friends, a local design and branding company, transforms the bookmobiles into eye-catching mobile branches. Oversized books, playful details, and layered visual elements invite curiosity while underscoring the idea that the bookmobiles are a dynamic extension of the library system, not just a satellite service.
To bring the project to life, SJCPLS partnered with Sundown Wraps, which applied the large-scale graphics to the vehicles. The durable materials and finishes will help ensure that the bookmobiles remain vibrant and inviting for years to come.
With the re-wrap complete, the bookmobiles are once again on the road, delivering books, resources, and library services directly to neighborhoods, schools, and community events throughout St. Johns County.
