Small Business Owners Invited to Connect With Local Resources at September 23 Event

Free St. Johns County event will connect entrepreneurs with organizations that can help businesses start, grow, and thrive

Local small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs are invited to connect with organizations that can help them start, grow, and strengthen their businesses during a free Small Business Resource Event from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, September 23, at The Waterworks, 184 San Marco Ave., St. Augustine.

Hosted by St. Johns County Economic Development, the event will bring together representatives from local, regional, and state organizations to provide information about business resources, programs, and services. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions, build connections, and learn about resources available to support their business goals.

“Small businesses are the heart of St. Johns County. When entrepreneurs take a risk, create jobs, and serve our community, they don’t just build successful businesses; they strengthen our local economy and help build a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone,” said Monica Dominguez, Senior Project Manager for St. Johns County Economic Development.

The event supports the St. Johns County Strategic Plan’s Economic Prosperity priority by strengthening the local business community and connecting entrepreneurs with resources that support business growth and economic opportunity. The County’s economic development efforts focus on expanding business opportunities, developing local talent, and fostering a competitive, resilient economy.

The event will include registration and networking, agency spotlights, and additional networking opportunities. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., with the program beginning at 10 a.m.

Whether attendees are exploring a new business idea, launching a startup, or looking to grow an established business, the event will provide an opportunity to make connections and identify resources that can help move their businesses forward.
