St. Johns County Recognizes Constitution Week

Commissioner Roy Alaimo presented the Regents Council of Northeast Florida and Maria Jefferson Chapter NSDAR Daughters of the American Revolution with a proclamation recognizing September 17 – 23 as Constitution Week at the September 5, 2023, Board meeting.

Each year, on the anniversary of the enacting of the Constitution, we honor the framers of the Constitution as well as the glorious nation built upon the foundation they provided. This annual observance also serves as a time for all citizens to hold dear and celebrate the rights, privileges and responsibilities this document affords to Americans.
