St. Johns County Recognizes November as National Hospice and Palliative Care Month

At the November 21, 2023, St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners Regular Meeting, Commissioner Christian Whitehurst presented a proclamation to Marisa Lamberto of Haven Hospice, recognizing November as National Hospice and Palliative Care Month.

For almost half a century, Haven Hospice has been an unwavering source of comfort and support for countless individuals in north Florida, offering solace during their final months, weeks, or days alongside their cherished loved ones.

“Much like the celebration of new life with the arrival of a baby, Haven Hospice commemorates the closure of life’s journey by providing compassion and dignity,” said Commissioner Christian Whitehurst. “Their enduring presence and dedication to our community are invaluable, and we extend our deepest gratitude.”
