Traffic Pattern Shift Scheduled for CR 210 Widening Project on Aug. 15

Motorists are reminded to use caution and follow posted signage

As part of the ongoing County Road 210 widening project, St. Johns County will implement a traffic pattern shift on the night of Friday, Aug. 15.

Beginning that evening, both westbound and eastbound lanes of CR 210 will transition from the existing roadway to the newly constructed roadway just east of Stone Creek Circle, returning to the existing roadway at the intersection with Cimarrone Boulevard.

Appropriate signage and roadway striping will be in place to guide drivers through the new configuration. Following the shift, the contractor will begin work between the old and new roadways in front of nearby neighborhoods to construct ramps providing access to the new lanes.

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution as traffic adjusts to the new pattern. Entering or leaving neighborhoods may be easier outside of peak “rush hour” periods, which can help reduce travel times and congestion.

St. Johns County appreciates the public’s patience as the project continues and look forward to delivering the improved roadway upon completion.
