Summer Camp

The St. Johns County Parks & Recreation Department’s Camps are for children ages 5*-12 (*only five-year-olds that have completed kindergarten by the start of camp are eligible) and held at five locations in St. Johns County.

Early Childhood

Crafty Tots

Enjoy story time, a snack, and create a special craft that your little one can take home. Parents or guardians must be present during the duration of the class.

Splish Splash Story Time

Join us for a story, a treat, and a fun time at the Splash Pad located at Solomon Calhoun Community Center. This program is seasonal.

School Age

Enrichment Programs

Ketterlinus Elementary Enrichment Programs are divided into four quarters similar to St. Johns County Schools and are for Elementary and Middle School students.

Parents Night Out

Bring your kids to our quarterly event, where parents can drop their kids off and have the evening off. Games, movies, crafts, snacks, and dinner will occupy your child(ren) while you enjoy an evening off.

Rec13

Middle school-aged youth are invited to hang out with us one day a month to enjoy an age-appropriate afternoon filled with games, social opportunities, and most importantly, pizza.

Teen Night Out

W.E. Harris staff host a quarterly Teen Night, inviting local youth to enjoy an evening of sports, music, games, and dinner.

After School Programs

St. Johns County Parks and Recreation offers after school enrichment programs to bring a wide range of benefits to our youth, families and community. After school programs can boost academic performance, reduce risky behaviors, promote physical health, and provide a safe, structured environment for the children of working parents.

Ketterlinus Elementary Enrichment Program

When: School days, August-May, 3 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, 2 to 6 p.m., Wednesdays
Where: Ketterlinus Gymnasium, 80 Orange St., St. Augustine, FL 32084
Details: In this program, participants will complete homework and take part in recreational activities and a variety of enrichment programs. The program is divided into four quarters similar to St. Johns County Schools. The cost per quarter is $270 and registration is required. Ketterlinus Middle School Enrichment Program

When: School days, August-May, 2 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, 1 to 6 p.m., Wednesdays
Where: Ketterlinus Gymnasium, 80 Orange St., St. Augustine, FL 32084
Details: This program is for kids grades 6 through 8. Staff will help with homework, provide recreational activities, and kids will get the chance to socialize with their peers. The program is divided into four quarters similar to St. Johns County Schools. The cost per quarter is $270 and registration is required. Collier-Blocker Student Enrichment Program

When: School days, August-May, 3 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, 2 to 6 p.m., Wednesdays
Where: Collier-Blocker Center, 10 N. Holmes Blvd., St. Augustine, FL
Details: This is a free drop-in program for all school-age students. Students will have access to computers, board games, recreational games, movies, and cultural and social activities. For more information, contact Brian James at bjames@sjcfl.us or 904-209-0365.

W.E. Harris Student Enrichment Program

When: School days, August-May, 2 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, 1 to 6 p.m., Wednesdays

Details: In this program, participants will complete homework and take part in extra recreational activities and a variety of enrichment programs. The program is divided into four quarters similar to St. Johns County Schools.
