St. Johns County Hosting Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Upgrades to Field of Dreams Baseball

St. Johns County will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of a $1,513,800 project that expanded the baseball field’s existing parking lot and added a new concession building with ADA-accessible restrooms.

SJC Hosting Community Open House, Survey on Proposed Shore Drive Trail Project

St. Johns County will host a community open house from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, at the St. Augustine South Improvement Association, located at 709 Royal Road, St. Augustine, to present the finalized plan for the proposed Shore Drive Trail project and gather public input through a community survey.

SJC Approves $1.9 Million DeLeon Shores Park Improvement Project

At its regular meeting on December 4, the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners approved a $1,976,559 construction contract for an improvement project at DeLeon Shores Park (9 Dolphin Blvd. E., Ponte Vedra).

SJC Parks & Recreation Recognized as a Certified Autism Center

In April 2024, St. Johns County Parks & Recreation earned the Certified Autism Center designation from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES).

This distinction follows a comprehensive staff training program, heightened awareness efforts, and an on-site review of county parks and facilities.
