SJC Hosting Groundbreaking Ceremony for Silverleaf Sportsplex and Shearwater Community Park and Library

On Friday, June 20, at 10 a.m., St. Johns County will celebrate the start of work on both the Silverleaf Sportsplex and the Shearwater Community Park and Library as part of the County’s $123 million regional park plan.

May 9, 2025 – St. Johns County Approves Major Expansion of Field of Dreams Baseball

On May 3, the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department welcomed hundreds of guests to Alpine Groves Park (2060 SR-13, Switzerland) for the 2025 Bartram Living History Festival.

May 8, 2025 – SJC and Field of Dreams Baseball League Celebrate Expansion of Disability-Friendly Baseball Field

On May 3, St. Johns County officials and staff joined members of the Field of Dreams (FOD) Baseball League to celebrate the start of work on a major expansion of Field of Dreams Baseball, the County’s disability-friendly baseball field at Aberdeen Park (1401 Shetland Drive, St. Johns).
