At the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) meeting on April 16, 2024, a purchase and sales agreement with the World Golf Foundation was approved. This agreement included the purchase of the PGA TOUR Productions building as well as the surrounding walkways, common areas, parking lots, and select building inventory. The agreement also continues operations of the IMAX Theater.
At the upcoming May 21, 2024, BCC meeting, St. Johns County economic development consultant Thomas P. Miller and Associates (TPMA) will present the results of the World Golf Village community survey and will also provide recommendations for revisioning the area based on the extensive community feedback.
