St. Johns County Supports the Mission of the Betty Griffin Center

County leadership attended the annual event to support the mission to help survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
On February 23, 2026, St. Johns County leadership attended the Third Annual Betty Griffin Center Breakfast. Attendees included St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners Christian Whitehurst, Commissioner, District 1, and Krista Joseph, District 4 as well as County Administrator Joy Andrews. The Betty Griffin Center provides services of hope and healing for victims of domestic and sexual assault in St. Johns County.

The program featured Board President Melissa Angulo, Women’s Giving Alliance President Kristen A. Martino, and Betty Griffin Center CEO Kelly Franklin, as well as Florida Partnership to End Domestic Violence Board Member Jayne Evans.
The mission of the Betty Griffin Center is to help survivors of domestic and sexual violence navigate through their life-changing traumas to live fulfilling lives on their terms.
