Lab tests show water is safe for consumption
St. Augustine, FL, July 23, 2026 – A Retraction Notice has been issued to lift the original Precautionary Boil Water Notice for the following addresses:
604-616 W 16th Street
2180-2198 SR A1A South
The St. Johns County Utility Department has completed lab tests showing the water is safe for consumption. The boil water notice had been in effect since July 21st following a water main break.
Door tags were used to notify the facilities affected by this Boil Water Notice Retraction. Citizens may call the Department’s Boil Water Notice Hotline at (904) 209-2731 for additional information or visit the Department’s website at www.sjcutility.us.
