St. Johns County announces that the Pope Road beach access and parking lot will be closed on Monday, Aug. 10, to allow for the delivery of equipment necessary to remove a cable buried in the sand near this area.
The closure is expected to last for one day only.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate beach access points during the temporary closure. Signage will be in place to notify the public.
