Board of County Commissioners Elects Clay Murphy as Chair

At the conclusion of its regular meeting on Dec. 2, 2025, the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) voted to replace Commissioner Krista Joseph, District 4, as Chair and to elect Commissioner Clay Murphy, District 3, as the new Chair.
The Chair role is selected by the BCC annually or as otherwise determined by Board action.
The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners meets regularly to set policy, approve the annual budget, oversee countywide services and programs, and represent the interests of County residents.
