NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will conduct an Executive Session on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the San Sebastian Conference Room, 500 San Sebastain View, St. Augustine. FL 32084.

The purpose of the Executive Session is to conduct internal discussions relative to collective bargaining, including matters related to a declared collective bargaining impasse, pursuant to section 447.605(1), Florida Statutes. The Executive Session is closed and exempt from Sunshine Law.

Attendance at the Executive Session will be limited to the members of the Board of County Commissioners, the County Administrator, and such staff and legal counsel as may be necessary.

No votes or final action will be taken during the Executive Session. Any action or direction resulting from the Executive Session will be taken, if at all, at a properly noticed public meeting.

This notice is given to comply with the public notice requirements of Florida law.

FY 2026 Final Budget Meeting

On September 16, 2025, at 5:01 pm in the County Auditorium (500 San Sebastian View), the Board of County Commissioners will follow a procedure prescribed by Florida Statute 200.065, as part of the 2nd Public Hearing to adopt the Fiscal Year 2026 Millage Rates and Budget.

The Board of County Commissioners will consider two motions (per Florida Statute 200.065):

1. A motion to adopt Final Millage Rates necessary to fund the Fiscal Year 2026 budget.
2. A motion to approve the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget

FY 2026 Tentative Budget Meeting

On September 3, 2025, at 5:01 pm in the County Auditorium (500 San Sebastian View), the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will be presented with the Fiscal Year 2026 Tentative Budget, the first of two required public hearings to adopt the Fiscal Year 2026 Millage Rates and Budget.  The meeting will follow the procedure as prescribed by Florida Statute 200.065. The Fiscal Year 2026 Recommended Budget has been updated to reflect numerous capital projects and grant activities that cross fiscal years; known as carryforwards, the Fiscal Year 2026 Tentative Budget reflects over $605 million in capital carryforwards, bringing the Fiscal Year 2026 Tentative Budget to $1,901,787,324.

The Board of County Commissioners will consider three motions (per Florida Statute 200.065):

1. A motion to approve proposed millage rates necessary to fund the Fiscal Year 2026 budget.
2. A motion to approve the Fiscal Year 2026 Tentative Budget.
3. A motion to establish September 16, 2025 @ 5:01 PM, in the County Auditorium, as the Second Public Hearing for the adoption of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners Fiscal Year 2026 Millage Rates and Budget.
