The St. Johns County Department of Community and Destination will host a public meeting to share information and gather public input for a proposed lighting project on N. Main Street in Hastings. The proposed project would replace a designated number of current streetlight poles on N. Main Street with new streetlight poles which mirror the historical style of the original light poles. The project also includes the upgrade of lights to LED. The updates are intended to support the historic character of N. Main Street and provide a reduction in ongoing utility costs.

This community workshop is being held to allow the public an opportunity to learn about the project identified as Ashford Mills PUD major modification located at 0 Shearwater Parkway Saint Augustine, FL 32092. The subject parcel is located at the southeast quadrant of County Road 210 and Shearwater Parkway and within the Northwest Sector of St. Johns County. This major modification request only affects commercial parcel No. 009945-0100 (southeast corner of CR 210 and Shearwater Pkwy). The request includes interconnectivity with the adjacent commercial parcel and a reduction of the buffers between the two commercial parcels. This modification does not affect currently approved uses.
