Board of County Commissioners Meeting

The St. Johns County Board of County Commission Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays each month commencing at 9:00 a.m. in the St. Johns County Auditorium located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL. The Board reserves the right to cancel and or change the meeting schedule as needed. Most Public Hearings for the County Commission will be advertised for 9:00 a.m. It will be left to the discretion of the BCC Chair as to the most appropriate time to break for recess. *Per Board Rule 4.102: The Board shall not hold a regular meeting on the first Tuesday of January or the first Tuesday of July. PROPOSED PROJECT SITE

This community workshop is being held to allow the public an opportunity to learn about the project identified as Henry Orthodontics PUD rezoning located at 5643 and 5645 State Road 16, Saint Augustine, FL 32092, located just north of International Golf Parkway that is within the Northwest Sector of St. Johns County. The project proposes to rezone the two (2) subject parcels from Open Rural (OR) to PUD to accommodate a maximum of 29,600 square feet of commercial and medical office uses as permitted in the Neighborhood Commercial zoning designation of the Land Development Code. The proposed uses will be consistent with the Residential A future land use designation of the Comprehensive Plan.

The Development Review Committee (DRC) consists of a representative of each department/program responsible for participating in the review of development plan applications with the intent of providing information regarding development applications.  This meeting is held every Wednesday.

This meeting is open to the public, however, there is no public comment portion and is informational in purpose.

A public participation community meeting will be held regarding a request for a Special Use Permit Major Review (SUPMAJ 2025-29) for the construction of a new 175-foot Monopole Antenna Tower with 5-foot appurtenance (Total 180-ft AFG). The approximate 6,400sf (80’x80’) tower parcel is located north of St. Thomas Island Parkway, further described as St. Johns County Parcel ID 026570-0010.

The Tourist Development Council is required by the authorizing legislation to meet at least four times per year but has chosen to meet more frequently. The meetings are typically held on the third Monday of the month in the County Auditorium at 500 San Sebastian View at 1:30 p.m.
