Industrial Development Authority

San Sebastian Conference Room – St. Johns County Administration Building

The primary purpose of the IDA is to issue tax-exempt bond financing for manufacturing facilities within the county. The IDA can also issue bonds for certain exempt facilities such as water & sewer projects, solid waste and hazardous waste facilities as well as bonds for tax-exempt 501 (C)(3) non-profit organizations.

Development Review Committee (DRC)

The Development Review Committee (DRC) consists of a representative of each department/program responsible for participating in the review of development plan applications with the intent of providing information regarding development applications.  This meeting is held every Wednesday.

This meeting is open to the public, however, there is no public comment portion and is informational in purpose.

Board of County Commissioners Meeting

The St. Johns County Board of County Commission Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays each month commencing at 9:00 a.m. in the St. Johns County Auditorium located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL. The Board reserves the right to cancel and or change the meeting schedule as needed. Most Public Hearings for the County Commission will be advertised for 9:00 a.m. It will be left to the discretion of the BCC Chair as to the most appropriate time to break for recess. *Per Board Rule 4.102: The Board shall not hold a regular meeting on the first Tuesday of January or the first Tuesday of July. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the meeting scheduled for September 29, 2025 between representatives of the Collective Barganing Team of St. Johns County and representatives of the International Association of Firefighters Local #3865 has been cancelled.  The meeting was scheduled to begin at 1:00pm in the San Sebastian Conference Room in the County Administration Building located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL.

Insurance Committee Meeting

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the St.  Johns County Insurance Committee will hold a special meeting on Friday, September 26, 2025, beginning  at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Johns County Administration Building – Training Conference Room, 500 San Sebastian View St Augustine, FL  32084. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss insurance issues and any other business of the committee. It is anticipated that one or more of the St. Johns County Commissioners may attend and participate at this meeting.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at the meeting, he/she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he/she may need to    ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
