Contractors Must Be Licensed

Contractors must be licensed; before advertising, bidding or performing any work as required by Florida Statute 489 and St. Johns County Ordinance 2002-48.

What Doesn’t Require a License?

Reciprocity

Persons already licensed as a contractor in many other Florida jurisdictions may find simple reciprocity in St. Johns County.
