About the IDA
Founded in 1980, the St. Johns County Industrial Development Authority (IDA) consists of a 5-member board appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.
The primary purpose of the IDA is to issue tax-exempt bond financing for manufacturing facilities within the county. The IDA can also issue bonds for certain exempt facilities such as water & sewer projects, solid waste and hazardous waste facilities as well as bonds for tax-exempt 501 (C)(3) non-profit organizations. By utilizing the tax-exempt financing, the end user receives a lower interest rate and therefore has a more economically viable project.
The IDA is instrumental in attracting new manufacturing businesses to St. Johns County and expanding existing facilities. Over the past 40 years, the IDA has issued more than $1.3 billion in tax-exempt bonds.

NOTICE OF MEETING CANCELLATION OF THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) meeting scheduled for March 11, 2024, has been cancelled. The meeting was scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. in the BCC Executive Conference Room located in the County Administration Building, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL.
The next regularly scheduled IDA meeting will be held on April 8, 2024, beginning at 3 p.m. The location of the April 8th meeting is the BCC Executive Conference Room located in the County Administration Building, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL.
Except for the March 11, 2024, IDA meeting, all other meetings previously noticed will take place at the time and date advertised, unless otherwise provided.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) will hold monthly meetings on the second Monday of every month beginning in January 2024, at 3 p.m. The meetings will take place in the BCC Executive Conference Room located in the County Administration Building, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL. It is anticipated that one or more of the St. Johns County Commissioners may attend and participate at these meetings.
