Lab tests show water is safe for consumption
(St. Augustine, FL – July 30, 2026) – A Retraction Notice has been issued to lift the original Precautionary Boil Water Notice for the following addresses in the Butler Beach area in St. Augustine:
5012 to 5099 Medoras Ave
31 E. Magnolia Ave
30 E. Palmetto Ave
The St. Johns County Utility Department has completed lab tests showing the water is safe for consumption. The boil water notice had been in effect since July 28th.
Door tags were used to notify the residents affected by this Boil Water Notice Retraction. Citizens may call the Department’s Boil Water Notice Hotline at (904) 209-2731 for additional information or visit the Department’s website at www.sjcutility.us.
