The Inside SJC Video Series provides residents with an in-depth look at how the County operates to educate, engage, and empower.
St. Johns County launched Inside SJC Episode 10: Where Does County News Come From? Inside SJC Public Affairs. This episode gives viewers a look inside the SJC Office of Public Affairs as they collaborate across county departments to produce stories that inform and engage the community. From hosting events and special meetings, crafting news releases, producing videos, and managing social media, and the website, Public Affairs is committed to keeping residents informed.
Enhancing community trust through proactive communication to foster engagement and build an environment of public participation is a key priority of the St. Johns County Strategic Plan.
The Office of Public Affairs earned the Florida Public Relations Association 2025 Silver Pinnacle Award for “Government Team of the Year” – The Government Team of the Year Award is presented to a local or state governmental agency, department, or office doing exceptional work using public relations, marketing, and communications to accomplish its purpose or improve its constituents’ lives.

St. Johns County has launched a new video series, Inside SJC, aimed at educating, engaging, and empowering residents and business owners by showcasing the County’s departments, services, and key initiatives. The video series will roll out strategically, with each episode focusing on timely topics for the community. Inside SJC will provide an in-depth look at how the County operates, the resources available to residents, and the programs that contribute to making St. Johns County a vibrant and thriving community. From parks to libraries, the series will cover a wide array of subjects, offering viewers a comprehensive understanding of essential County services. Video Rollout Schedule The series will be released monthly, with each video timed to coincide with relevant seasonal topics.
How to Watch
Episodes of Inside SJC will be available through multiple channels to ensure broad public access. The series can be found on the County’s website and videos will also be shared across the County’s social media platforms. Additionally, residents can watch the videos on the County’s GovTV channel.
