St. Johns County to Host Open House for Regalo Road Improvement Project
St. Johns County is hosting an open house regarding the planned improvement project for Regalo Road. Improvements are proposed on Regalo Road from US-1 to Palencia Village Drive. The improvements include paving the existing dirt road portion, milling and resurfacing the existing paved portion, additional ballfield parking at Palencia Park, improving drainage in the area, and constructing a sidewalk for pedestrian travel. During construction, there will be road closures on the unpaved portions of the road, temporary lane closures and shifts, and traffic detours with signage for homes and businesses in the area.
Construction is scheduled to begin Summer of 2024 with project completion in Summer 2025. The budget for this project is approximately $2.2 million.
St. Johns County Public Works staff will be available at the open house to answer questions and share details about this future asset to our community.
When: Thursday, March 14, 2024, 5 to 6 p.m.
Where: St. Johns County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine
One or more County Commissioners may be present. Please note that no action will be taken during the open house.
