FMCA also recognized St. Johns County with the Governmental Entity Certificate of Excellence in Communications, a prestigious designation awarded to local governments that demonstrate high standards in strategic communication, public outreach, and resident engagement across multiple platforms. This marks the second consecutive year the County has received the honor.

The awards were presented during the FMCA Annual Conference, which brings together public information and communications professionals from across Florida to share best practices and recognize outstanding work in government communications.

These recognitions highlight St. Johns County’s continued commitment to delivering clear, accessible, and engaging information to residents through innovative storytelling and strategic outreach.

The Inside SJC video series was honored for its collaborative production and marketing approach, offering residents an in-depth look at County projects, services, and initiatives that directly impact the community.

In addition to these honors, the St. Johns County Office of Public Affairs has earned multiple state and national recognitions in recent years, including the 2025 Pinnacle Award from the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) and the 2024 Savvy Award and Diamond Award from the City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA) for the Get Hooked anti-litter initiative.
