The SJC Report Features Capital Improvement Projects

The County’s radio show on WFOY included Public Works Director Greg Caldwell.
On February 10, 2026, the County’s monthly radio show on WFOY 102.1 FM called The SJC Report featured Greg Caldwell, the County’s Public Works Director.
Caldwell shared details of the roads, parks and other major projects the County has completed recently or are under construction. St. Johns County successfully completed 61 capital projects in 2025 and has 59 additional capital projects scheduled to either begin construction or reach final completion in 2026. Together, these efforts represent more than $820 million in infrastructure investment across public facilities, public safety, parks and libraries, roadway improvements, utilities, land acquisition, coastal resiliency, and technology. He mentioned the Featured Projects webpage which has additional information on various projects for public works, utilities and coastal management. Infrastructure in one of the six priorities of the County’s Strategic Plan.
