Community survey will guide outreach, services, and strategic planning
The St. Johns County Public Library System (SJCPLS) invites non-library users to share their perspectives through an online community survey as part of the system’s strategic planning process.
Open through April 30, there is an English survey option and Spanish survey option. Feedback will help shape library services and programs based on the needs of County residents.
“By listening to these voices, we can identify barriers, uncover new opportunities, and ensure our services reflect the entire community, not just current patrons,” said Heather Sostrom, Public Service Manager for SJCPLS. “This survey is the first step in a broader initiative to expand outreach and develop programs and resources to support the library system’s growth and meet the evolving needs of St. Johns County residents.”
The survey is open to all community members who do not currently use the library. It takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and includes questions about community needs, awareness of library services, perceived barriers to library use, and priorities for future offerings.
Participants may enter a random drawing for a giveaway basket provided by Mayday Ice Cream.
