Car pass admission provides access to multiple farm stops, local food vendors, and seasonal experiences across St. Johns County
Slow Food First Coast will host the return of its popular Tour de Farm on Sunday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering residents and visitors a unique opportunity to explore working farms, meet local growers, and experience the region’s agricultural heritage across St. Johns County. Tickets are available for purchase online.
The one-day event will take place in Elkton and St. Augustine, where participating farms will open their gates to the public.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour scenic farm properties, meet and engage with local farming families, sample fresh, seasonal recipes prepared by local food vendors, and shop for farm-grown products and merchandise. The event also highlights the peak growing season in St. Johns County, with crops including potatoes, snap beans, and flowers on display.
Participating farms include Wilson Family Farm, The Feed Mill, Parker Produce, Parker Flower Farms, and the St. Johns County Agricultural Center. Local food vendors will include Chef Paul Brock, The Kookaburra Coffee, Minorcan Mike, and Songbird Pies.
All tour stops are conveniently located in St. Johns County, making the event an accessible day trip for residents and visitors looking to experience Florida agriculture at its peak during the spring season.
Admission is available exclusively through a car pass, with each pass covering all passengers in a single vehicle. When purchasing a pass, attendees select a scenic route that determines their starting location and the order in which they visit participating farms. After purchase, detailed directions, including addresses and estimated drive times, are provided. Visitors are encouraged to plan for approximately 30 minutes at each stop to fully experience each location.
Multiple route options are available, each rotating through the same five participating farms to provide flexibility and manage traffic flow throughout the event.
