Purchasing and Contracts
Overview
The SJC Purchasing Department administers the activities for the procurement and contracting of goods, services and construction required for the County, in accordance with the SJC Purchasing Policy and all applicable laws. These activities include sourcing, solicitations, negotiating and administrating contracts, issuing and maintaining Purchase Orders, administering the P-Card Program, as well as managing and disposing of County surplus.

Doing Business with SJC
County Surplus Auction
In an effort to maximize the recovery of money investing in the County-owned surplus property, the County has signed an agreement with Great Expectations Auction Company, LLC. This firm maintains a webpage dedicated to St. Johns County surplus property listings that are available for auction to the public.
