St. Johns County and FCC Environmental Services Hosts Shredding Event on May 10 

This free event is open to St. Johns County residents to securely shred confidential documents. 

St. Johns County Public Works announces that its solid waste hauler FCC Environmental Services is partnering with Shred-it to host a Shredding Event to safely and securely shred confidential documents. The event is free to all St. Johns County residents and will be held on Saturday, May 10, 9 a.m. to noon at Anastasia Square Shopping Plaza, 1935-1965 A1A South, St. Augustine and Player’s Community Center, 175 Landrum Ln, Ponte Vedra Beach. What to Bring 

Bring old paperwork, bills, and confidential documents to be safely shredded on-site. It’s a simple, secure way to clear out clutter and protect identity-all while helping the planet. 

Items Accepted 

  • All personal documents 
  • White or colored papers 
  • Stapled or paper-clipped documents 
  • File folders and file hangers 

Items Not Accepted 

  • 3 ring binders 
  • Cardboard 
  • Items generated by commercial activity
