Overview

The SJC Purchasing Department administers the activities for the procurement and contracting of goods, services and construction required for the County, in accordance with the SJC Purchasing Policy and all applicable laws. These activities include sourcing, solicitations, negotiating and administrating contracts, issuing and maintaining Purchase Orders, administering the P-Card Program, as well as managing and disposing of County surplus.

To provide for fair, equitable and competitive procurement, maximize the value of public funds, and to provide safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity.

The County will hear and review a demonstration from the shortlisted Proposer under this RFP. The scores from the demonstration will be announced at the public Evaluation Committee meeting, at which time evaluators will announce their individual scores, discuss the results, and establish a final ranking and recommendation. The evaluation meeting will be conducted in accordance with all applicable provisions of the Florida Sunshine Law.
