The St. Johns County Public Library System (SJCPLS) and St. Johns County Department of Economic Development invite local businesses and organizations to participate in the upcoming Career Fair at the Solomon Calhoun Community Center on Saturday, February 20, 2027, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event provides an excellent opportunity for employers to connect with a variety of job seekers and students from various fields, making it an ideal platform to promote job opportunities and foster professional relationships. Organizations interested in participating can register for free by completing the online registration form.

“Events like this Career Fair embody the library’s commitment to empowering individuals and strengthening the community,” said Debra Rhodes Gibson, Library Director. “By connecting job seekers with employers, we continue our mission to connect residents with the resources they need for success.”

The Public Library System first hosted the Career Fair in 2025, and it featured over 20 businesses. Participating organizations will have the chance to showcase their company culture, recruitment opportunities, and career paths to attendees eager to begin or advance their careers.

“When businesses participate in a career fair, they’re helping to build the workforce our community needs while finding talent to support their own success,” said Christine Valliere, Director of Economic Development and Intergovernmental Affairs. “We appreciate employers taking the time to share their opportunities and help people see where their skills and experience could lead. That involvement makes a difference for both our local businesses and the people they employ.”
