Board of County Commissioners Meeting

The St. Johns County Board of County Commission Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays each month commencing at 9:00 a.m. in the St. Johns County Auditorium located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL. The Board reserves the right to cancel and or change the meeting schedule as needed. Most Public Hearings for the County Commission will be advertised for 9:00 a.m. It will be left to the discretion of the BCC Chair as to the most appropriate time to break for recess. *Per Board Rule 4.102: The Board shall not hold a regular meeting on the first Tuesday of January or the first Tuesday of July. Development Review Committee (DRC)

The Development Review Committee (DRC) consists of a representative of each department/program responsible for participating in the review of development plan applications with the intent of providing information regarding development applications.  This meeting is held every Wednesday.

This meeting is open to the public, however, there is no public comment portion and is informational in purpose.

The purpose of this meeting is for various staff, with the Evaluation Committee to discuss, summarize individual evaluations; announce scores of Proposers; and, if applicable, shortlist Proposers to the subject RFQ for eventual recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. This is a public meeting and will be conducted in accordance with all applicable provisions of Florida’s Sunshine Laws.If a person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at the meeting, he/she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which such record includes the evidence upon which the appeal is made.

Industrial Development Authority

San Sebastian Conference Room – St. Johns County Administration Building

The primary purpose of the IDA is to issue tax-exempt bond financing for manufacturing facilities within the county. The IDA can also issue bonds for certain exempt facilities such as water & sewer projects, solid waste and hazardous waste facilities as well as bonds for tax-exempt 501 (C)(3) non-profit organizations.
