May 9, 2025 – St. Johns County Approves Major Expansion of Field of Dreams Baseball
On May 3, the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department welcomed hundreds of guests to Alpine Groves Park (2060 SR-13, Switzerland) for the 2025 Bartram Living History Festival.
May 8, 2025 – SJC and Field of Dreams Baseball League Celebrate Expansion of Disability-Friendly Baseball Field
On May 3, St. Johns County officials and staff joined members of the Field of Dreams (FOD) Baseball League to celebrate the start of work on a major expansion of Field of Dreams Baseball, the County’s disability-friendly baseball field at Aberdeen Park (1401 Shetland Drive, St. Johns).
April 28, 2025 – SJC Parks and Recreation Employee Robert McFarland Earns 2024 Tourism and Hospitality Government Employee of the Year Award
On April 24, the St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches Visitors and Convention Bureau (VCB) presented Sports Tourism Development Specialist Robert “Bobby” McFarland its prestigious St. Johns County 2024 Tourism and Hospitality Employee of the Year Award.
