July 29, 2025 – St. Johns Golf Club Makes Albatross with 2025 Successes

St. Johns Golf Club, owned and operated by the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department, has been enjoying a year full of successes, the most recent being the PGA Junior League qualifier it hosted on July 21.

July 28, 2025 – St. Johns County Celebrates Addition of ADA Walkover and Expanded Parking to Crescent Beachfront Park with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

On July 23, St. Johns County celebrated the addition of an ADA-accessible walkover and a parking lot expansion to Crescent Beachfront Park (6930 A1A S./Cubbedge Road, St. Augustine) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

July 17, 2025 – St. Johns County Celebrates Completion of New Sand Volleyball Courts at Nocatee Community Park with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

On July 15, St. Johns County celebrated the addition of four new sand volleyball courts to Nocatee Community Park (707 Nocatee Center Way, Ponte Vedra) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Night Under the Stars Aug. 29 | 8–9:30 p.m.

St. Johns County Parks and Recreation has partnered with the Ancient City Astronomy Club (ACAC) to offer an educational evening that is truly out of this world! Join us for an exciting Astronomy 101 class, where participants will learn all about the wonders of the night sky. Led by members of the ACAC, this class will cover key topics such as constellations, star names, celestial bodies, and much more. Whether you’re a seasoned stargazer or a beginner, this event is perfect for anyone curious about the cosmos.
