Kimberly Carman Named Utilities Employee of the Year

The St. Johns County Utility Department is proud to announce Kimberly Carman as the 2024 Utilities Employee of the Year.

Carman, who serves as Utility Support Coordinator, received the majority of votes during internal voting held at the end of 2024. The recognition is part of the department’s ongoing employee appreciation efforts.

A dedicated member of the Utilities team since 2006, Carman provides vital administrative support to all divisions within the department. Known for her positive attitude and willingness to assist others, she has earned the respect and admiration of her coworkers.

“We congratulate Kim on being honored by her peers,” said Utilities Director Neal Shinkre said. “She is truly deserving of this recognition and continues to make a meaningful impact across our organization every day.”

Carman’s commitment to excellence and team spirit make her a standout within the department and a valued part of the St. Johns County team.
